Through the Sacramento River Friendly Landscape Rebate Program, homeowners utilized a 2-hour consultation to guide the transformation of their outdoor space. This project involved removing existing grass to help pay for the creation of a more sustainable landscape. The installation features a new walkway leading directly from the street to the front door, enhancing both accessibility to the house and the garden, as well as improving curb appeal. Furthermore, effective combinations of edible vegetable plants with low-water ornamental native plants results in a beautiful and functional garden that supports biodiversity while conserving water resources.
